My book was published in November 2019 and I have entered the Business Book Awards. I will be going to an event on 15th January to see if I have been shortlisted in my category of short business book. However, it is just amazing that I have published a book in 6 months. The book is a guide to help new providers or those undertaking a regulated activity to write an effective application to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The book has 5-star reviews on Amazon. I am looking forward to what 2020 brings for me. Being the author of “Outstanding A Leaders guide to effective CQC Registration” is the start of my writing journey.

I never thought I would be able to write a book, that was something other people did. However, I have realized if its a subject that you know well and can talk about then you can write a book about it. I know this subject well as I support providers with their CQC application. This is the process I use with them.
Being part of the Business Book Awards gives me the chance to meet other authors. A variety of books are represented at the Business Book Awards. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to meet people from other walks of life. I am glad I rose to the challenge of writing this book. The journey as an author has just begun.
